It’s been non-stop since Christmas.
Not weddings, my mainstay… but portraits. All kinds of portraits.
From beautiful new born baby and maternity shoots to ‘Intimates’ and more formal family shoots. Then again, very little of what I do is ‘formal’.
People book 1 Click Photography because they want something a little different to what can be found in a High Street studio. Something personal and unique.
Some of the shoots this year have been a little wild…
Like this Funky Portrait shoot.
On a rare day with some snow, we began at Cragg Wood, just around the corner from the studio. We then continued into the evening, indoors.
My good friend Andreas, created the hair and when we get together, we always go the extra mile to make sure we create fabulous images for all our clients.
The end of another exhausting but thoroughly enjoyable day.
Oh, and it looks like we’ll be doing even more of these shoots since Andreas is setting up shop at Yazz Number 1 Hair Studio which is 2 minutes away from 1 Click Photography.
Now, hair and photography will be working together on a daily basis.
I’d better get ready for more long nights!

Hi I'm Dave Sander and I'm a Wedding Photographer. Do you know, it's taken me two decades to be able to say that, because I used to be a Radio Broadcaster and although I always had a camera in one hand, it was what I said in the microphone that seemed to draw the most attention. I formed 1 Click Photography in 2005 with the same motivation I had for my Radio shows. To share a story. Your story of your wedding day. Not only that, but to do it in the best way I can, using powerful, emotive images. I hope they touch you as much as it thrilled me to take them.
